Yom Tov Distributions

For struggling families, the uplifting and joyous month of Tishrei with its lineup of Yomim Tovim is overshadowed by the pain and anguish of the additional financial burden incurred by the enormous expenses. The high cost of celebrating Pesach puts a damper on the joy of the holiday of freedom. The Kollel Shomrei Hachomos Pesach and Tishrei distributions provide ample stipends to cover the prohibitive costs of food and clothing so that these special days can be celebrated in true joy.

The Yom-Tov Distributions come in addition to year-round, regular monthly distribution. Before Yom Tov, our distribution is expanded to include thousands of additional families from all across Eretz Yisroel and across the entire Orthodox Jewish spectrum. Widows and orphans, and other families on our regular recipient lists, receive a double stipend this time of year, as well as an additional grant per family member .
